Cliffedge

The project sits in Sydney’s Inner West. This three-storey house is inspired by tropical architecture, and designed with the primary goal of integrating and adapting to the current topographic conditions that the site presents. Bordering to the north, a natural reserve provides the project with excellent environmental and visual amenities. The site receives sunlight throughout the year and benefits from natural ventilation, guaranteeing the project’s ideal thermal conditions in winter and summer.

The ground and the top floors are the areas where the active or common areas for the family and guests are located as they are directly related to the house’s two main entrances. The first floor contains the lounge, dining, kitchen, and a balcony as well as a pantry, powder room, and storage for the family. The ground floor is the entertaining area destined for the guests, where the guest room, guest bathroom, and some entertainment areas like the theatre, open covered alfresco, uncovered cabana, pool deck and swimming pool are located. Meanwhile, the ground floor is the private area for the family, where the master bedroom and kids’ bedrooms, the walk-in robe, master ensuite and kids’ bathrooms and laundry area are located.
