Architecture & Architectural Interior Design — Sydney, NSW

Architecture
and interiors —
one team,
one vision.

We guide clients from the first question through to a completed, considered home — combining architectural rigour with interior design expertise and decades of on-ground construction knowledge.

Most projects suffer from a fundamental disconnect: the architect draws the structure, the interior designer arrives later. At Spicer, both disciplines are held by the same team from the first sketch. The proportions of a room, the placement of a window, the depth of a reveal — these are interior decisions as much as architectural ones. Nothing falls between the gaps.

Every engagement begins with a Feasibility Study — a fixed-fee first step that tells you honestly what is possible, what it will cost, and what comes next. No commitment beyond that until you are ready.

How we work & what it costs

Every project starts with a Feasibility Study — a fixed-fee, no-obligation first step that gives you clarity on what is possible, what it costs, and what comes next. No surprises. You are never locked in beyond the current step.

Every stage is independently priced

You are never locked in beyond the current step. If you move forward with Spicer for the next stage, we credit a portion of your feasibility fee toward design. Each engagement is shaped by the project — these figures are starting points, not fixed quotes.

The Spicer difference

Beyond the
rendered promise.

AI tools and online research can be genuinely useful for inspiration — generating ideas, exploring possibilities, building a picture of what you might want. We encourage clients to use them. But they have a hard limit.

They cannot read your council. They do not know your site's specific constraints, your neighbour's objection history, or whether your DA will sail through or hit a wall. They produce budget figures with no relationship to current NSW trades pricing, material lead times, or the real cost of making old buildings new again.

A draftsman documents what you tell them. We shape what is actually possible — before anything is drawn, before a dollar is committed, before expectations become disappointments.

Bring us your AI research, your Pinterest boards, your ChatGPT renovation plan. We will tell you honestly what holds up, what needs adjusting, and what the real path looks like. That is a service no algorithm can provide.
