Spicer Architecture works across Sydney and Canberra — two cities with distinct residential characters, both demanding the same level of considered design intelligence.

In the ACT, we are currently working in Red Hill and on new developments in Macnamara, working within NCA design guidelines and the Territory Plan with the same brief-first, site-specific rigour that defines every project we undertake.

Led by Jonathan Spicer — registered architect and director — the studio brings a design language rooted in Modern Art Deco, Mid-Century Modernism, and Brazilian Modernism to every project it undertakes.

Jonathan established Spicer Architecture in 2015, building a portfolio defined by high-end residential work across Sydney's most demanding sites — cliff edges, heritage zones, narrow terrace footprints, and landscape-first briefs in Vaucluse, Birchgrove, and Double Bay. The studio is currently working in Red Hill and on new developments in Macnamara, where the NCA framework and the Territory Plan demand the same site-specific precision that defines every Spicer project.
